Darrin Shannon was drafted 4th overall by the Penguins in a deep NHL draft, after a superb junior career with the Windsor Spitfires. He never suited up for the Pens though, Shannon was traded to the Sabres along with my last ttm return Doug Bodger. Again later on Shannon was delt to the Winnipeg Jets where he spent the majority of his NHL career, even moving with the team to Phoenix
