Red Kelly

Mailed out: September 5, 2014
Returned: September 15, 2014
c/o home - 10 days

A Maple Leaf scout told the team to pass on Kelly while he was playing for the St Michaels Majors noting that he wouldn't last more than 20 NHL games, he would join the Detroit Red Wings in 1947. Kelly emerged as one of the top defence-men in the league taking home the Norris trophy in 1954. He ironically later joined the Maple Leafs. Kelly also won 8 cups as a member of the Wings, and Leafs, the most of any player who never played for the Canadiens.
