Another return for the O Pee Chee set today from the little ball of hate aka Pat Verbeek. Originally drafted by the Devils, he helped them to their first playoff appearance in 1988. He was then traded to the Whalers where he really found his stride, being named captain during his time. Verbeek almost lost his thumb in a farming accident in 1985 when an augar, thanks to his brother and father it was saved. He won the cup with Dallas Stars in 1999. He's currently the assistant general manager to Steve Yzerman with the Tampa Bay Lightning.
