Marcus Foligno

Mailed Out: December 2, 2013
Returned: April 25, 2014
return #15 - c/o Sabres

It would only seem fitting that former Sabres great Mike Foligno's son Marcus would be drafted by the team his dad made such a mark on. The Sabres seemed to get a steal of a deal, drafting the younger Foligno 104th overall. Having Canadian parents and born in Buffalo, New York Marcus had the tough task of choosing which country to represent, he made the right choice picking the maple leaf haha. He represented Canada at the 2011 World Juniors, helping lead them to a silver medal. After a successful junior career with the Sudbury Wolves he made the jump to the pros, splitting time with the Sabres and their AHL team, but as of this season it seems he's found a full time spot in the NHL. I mailed duplicate cards, offering that he could keep the regular trim one for another fan if need be. However, I'm pretty happy he mailed back both because the gold one came out awfully streaky.
