Jacob de la Rose represented Sweden at numerous junior tournaments displaying that he's a gifted young forward, the Canadiens took notice and drafted the Swede 34th overall in the 2013 NHL draft. He played last season with Leksands IF in the Swedish Hockey League where he put up a modest 18 points over 49 games. Jacob was the Canadiens final cut before their season opener last month.
