In the 2010 draft that pitted Taylor versus Tyler for first overall, the next best thing was defender Erik Gudbranson, which is exactly who the Florida Panthers picked at third. Loaded with experience of playing for team Canada Gudbanson made the jump to the NHL in 2011, the stay at home defenceman doesn't rack up points but he sure racks up hits.
